AMS APPROVED
ABORIGINAL PUBLICATIONS IN CANADA
June - 2002

AMS is working closely with Canada's leading Aboriginal publishers to establish a set of standards in order to better promote the effectiveness of Aboriginal media to prospective clients wishing to reach Canada's Aboriginal people.

With this in mind AMS has developed its "AMS - APPROVED" program which singles out leading publications on the following criteria:

* Verified circulation numbers and distribution area.

* Excellent editorial reputation in the community they serve.

* High production standards.

* Commitment to customer service.

* Have published consistently for at least one year.

* Aboriginal-owned and operated.

More and more publications realize the benefits of working together to attract new clients to Aboriginal media by developing a customer focused philosophy and reducing the confusion many clients face when first working with Aboriginal media.

Please contact AMS for additional information on these and other publications or Aboriginal media.
