student must return as a full-time student for a minimum of one
term. Full-time student of Treaty Indian ancestry.

Diana Leis Bursary

Open to Aboriginal students who are residents of northern
Saskatchewan and who have graduated with the previous five years
with complete secondary-level standing from specified school
divisions.
Value: One award of $800
Eligibility: Aboriginal student must have graduated within
the previous five years with complete secondary-level standing
from one of the following school divisions:
. Northern Lights School Division No.113
. Île à la Crosse School Division No.112
. Creighton School Division No.111.
Students must have completed at least one year of study in any
degree program
offered by the University of Saskatchewan and must intend to
return to northern
Saskatchewan on graduation. Academic achievement. Financial need.

Entering Awards:
Value: $20,000 ($5,000/year to a maximum of 4 years)
Open to students of Aboriginal descent who are entering their
first year of study at the University of Saskatchewan and majoring
in Aboriginal Public Administration, Business Economics, Land
Use and Environmental Studies or Environmental Earth Sciences
as determined by the Awards Committee.
Criteria: will be based on high school or secondary level
academic
achievement and a written interest in pursuing an undergraduate
degree
in one of the areas of study noted above.

students -
i) Aboriginal Public Administration,
ii) Business Economics, and
iii) Land Use and Environmental Studies or Environmental Earth
Sciences.
Continuing Awards:
Value: $20,000 ($5,000/year to a maximum of 4 years)
Open to students of Aboriginal descent who have completed
at least one year of university study and who are majoring in
Aboriginal Public Administration, Business Economics, Land Use
and Environmental Studies or Environmental Earth Sciences as
determined by the Awards Committee.
Renewal Criteria: Students receiving an award will be eligible
to have their
award renewed annually until the normal completion of their program
of study
provided they: 1.) achieve a minimum average of 70% in the last
regular session on at least 24 credit units; and 2.) continue
to enroll in courses which will lead to an undergraduate degree
in one of the areas of study noted above.
