The RCMP now considers the death of
Victoria Joanne Crow Shoe to be a homicide. The body of the Lethbridge resident was found along the shore of the Oldman River Reservoir at the Windy Point campground on Sept. 13, 2015. She was last seen by family members on Aug. 26. Crow Shoe, 43, was reported as a missing person to the Lethbridge Regional Police Service on Sept. 15. An autopsy conducted by the Calgary office of the Medical Examiner confirmed that the body found was that of Crow
Shoe. The RCMP says a Sept. 17 news release has generated a significant number of tips and information which has been invaluable to their work. The RCMP is seeking more information and is asking people to phone the Pincher Creek RCMP detachment at 403-627-6010 or to leave an anonymous tip at Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
