Social Services bursaries available

Alberta Family and Social Services encourages Metis and non-status Indian students to upgrade their skills and education in the social services field by providing financial assistance through bursaries. Applications will be accepted between Jan. 1 and April 30 each year, and registration at a university or college is not required when submitting a bursary application, but will be needed before the bursary is approved. Funding decisions are made in June each year. Bursaries will be granted based on whether or not the applicant has dependents and whether they are enrolling in a college or a university program.
