The Stoney Nakoda Nations have suffered extensive damage to roads and homes as a result of recent flooding.

We are grateful for the tremendous work that has been done by our Public Works, housing departments, evacuation centre management and staff and emergency co-ordination team and volunteers who have been working tirelessly to provide assistance to our people.

The Stoney Nakoda Nations would like to thank our fellow First Nation's communities across the country and all the individuals, churches anbd businesses in Cochrane, Calgary, canmore and Exshaw who have so generously donated food, water, clothing, essentials and volunteer time in this time of need.

At this time, we are well supplied with generous gifts of clothing and our priorities have changed to a need for water, food, hygiene items, cleaning supplies and infant supplies including diapers.

We have established a relief fund through the Royal Bank. Donations can be made at any Royal Bank Branch to the "Stoney Nakoda Flood Relief Fund 2013".
