Street Speaks mural at City Hall

A youth at the Marion Centre in downtown Edmonton works on one of nine Street Speaks murals that were displayed recently at Edmonton City Hall. The City of Edmonton Youth Council and iPulse youth group teamed up to put on the display with the goal of increasing public awareness around  poverty and homeless issues. “Edmonton’s young people are so thoughtful and conscientious about the issues in our community,” said Mayor Stephen Mandel. “I know these murals will help shed light on the lives of those affected by poverty and homelessness.”
