A conference aimed at young Aboriginal writers, originally slated for Feb. 16 to 18 in Prince Albert, has been rescheduled for the fall.

"Writing the Territories Ahead," organized by the English department of the Saskatchewan Indian Federated College, will be held at the college's northern campus in Prince Albert.

The conference is aimed at students aged 14 to 18 giving youth in Northern Saskatchewan a chance to meet with successful writers and learn more about various forms of creative writing and storytelling. Teachers are also invited to attend the event, with special workshops planned for them to help them to incorporate creative writing and storytelling into their teaching curriculum.
