Too hot, too cold, too young, too old we are never too complex to experience the good and bad of love. A few in life experience true everlasting affection, the other 68 % of society experience the down fall of a relationship that has gone stale. One thing that does survive are the memories that are shared and never forgotten that sometimes linger in the minds of a wounded soul. We live, we learn and we grow stronger at the weakest points of our hearts content.
This describes the single "Still My Angel" by country artist Mark Jacob from the album "Vindictive", set to be released this year. Nothing can compare to a heartfelt country song that includes a violin that cries with pain, a lap steel guitar that wails the suffering of a relationship that is misunderstood or even misguided. The piano that plays out the sequence of overall judgmental behavior and the beat of the drums mimic heartache. The combined feel of rock and country complements this song very well in the artistic approach and enhancement of the guitar methods. Mark Jacob's singing style is unlike any other performer that I have heard. His voice and range is very distinctive and meaningful. Mark is a Métis artist from Toronto, Ontario.
