Native Communications students from Grant MacEwan Community College will travel to Europe this month. The students' trip has been sponsored by Aboriginal support groups based in Germany and Austria. The Blood Reserve's newest housing complex is almost 75 years old. The St. Paul Anglican Church Residential School, derelict and empty for more than a decade, has been given a new lease on life, as a student residence for Red C row Community College.

With the end of April staring them in the face, the Indigenous Sport Council (Alberta) was pressed to complete its qualifying rounds in all 17 sports, involving a slate of approximately 760 athletes registered for the 1997 North American Indigenous Games this August in Victoria.
